La Quimera

How terrible the past was, all sad and
Desolate, all full of wickedness
Without the illusion of living, always suffering and
Suffering, what a terrible loneliness

What will become of my future, I don't know and I'm
Not sure, I know I'm in His hands
I don't care what comes, may His grace sustain me, I know I'm heading towards Him

Life is a chimera, it's a
Transient bird, that goes and goes and goes
You have to know how to handle it, don't let it
Mistreat you, as it goes and goes and goes

Today I rejoice in the present
Christ is fully in me, his love
In my being
How lovely it is to walk with Him, I want to be
Always faithful to Him, yesterday is forgotten
