The moon whitening
The sea, at dawn,
In front of the breakwater

The water glowing
On the moonlit beach
Blinding our eyes
And in the velvet of that blue sky
Shines the Southern Cross medallion
In the silver cord of moonlight

The dawn reddening the sky
On the horizon shimmering the ring
Of old gold of the sun king in the air
It's beautiful to see
The wind shaking
The sail of the raft
On the blue canvas of the sea.
