A Mensagem é Maior
Dhiego Shofar
The Message is Bigger
God already knew everything, yet He still chose me
Before the calling was born, He knew every flaw
He knew that honor would one day be enveloped in shame
That's why, before the fall, He marked me with a promise from heaven
He taught me, He forged me, He sent me to proclaim
Mercy and love for those who thought of retreating
I received His forgiveness, I heard God's urgent voice speak
I was a voice of salvation for those who needed to return
I saw fruits growing from the ground I watered
Lives healed by the grace I ministered
A generation rose up at what I spoke
But I didn't know the price this mission has
The message is greater than the messenger
It doesn't originate from man, it comes from the true throne
Even if I fall, God remains whole
The glory is His, not the imperfect instrument's
The message is greater
It's not about us
I stumbled, I fell, and the question came to me
How could I, after all I've lived through?
I preached forgiveness without knowing that the time would come
To experience firsthand the forgiveness I proclaimed
I wrote about grace, and now I needed it
A stern mirror revealed who I am without a screen
My sins screamed loudly, tearing through caution
While I inspired many
I fell to the ground
Defenseless
The message is greater than the messenger
It doesn't fall with the fall, it remains true
God doesn't lose glory if man falls first
He remains holy, faithful, just, and whole
He remains Holy
He remains whole
Like David, a man after God's own heart
Who after the fall did not flee, but surrendered
Create in me a pure heart, he wrote
Do not cast me away from Your presence
He cried out and God answered
The message remains alive even with a scar
Because it's not about who speaks, it's about who says it
The fall reveals limits that pride hid
And who among us has never needed God's forgiveness?
Son, the cross didn't fall when you fell
It remains standing because I built it
Confess, abandon, come running to my light
There is mercy for those who surrender, not for those who hide behind gifts
The man without a mask is accepted by Me
Even rejected by those who only see appearances in the end
Don't abort your mission for fear of exposure
The message is greater
Return to redemption
The message is greater than the messenger
It will echo even when the vessel falls to the ground
God restores men, but sustains His kingdom
The truth does not die with the fall of the messenger
The message is greater
It's not about us
Messengers, confess your stumbles
Light the way where silence is prison
Don't abort the calling because of the process
Awaken alive from the illusion
I am the God of the message
I am redemption
The man without a mask is accepted by God
But without it the world rejects him in veils
And the question echoes, insists on beating
Without the disguise
Who are you?
The message is greater than the messenger
It doesn't fall with the fall, it remains true
God doesn't lose glory if man falls first
He remains holy, faithful, just and whole
The message is greater
