Simply Clay
He created the sky, the earth, and the sea
Then He sat on His throne to take a break
And suddenly He said: Something's missing
So He took the clay and made man to worship Him
And when He looked at man, He felt so much love
And said: This is My greatest work of art
A piece of clay, a bit of wet dirt
But this clay is in the image of its creator
But man forgot the love of his God
And ended up falling
Wounding the soul and the feelings of the One who loved him so much
But this God forgave him and man embraced
With His endless love
And once again at Calvary, the clay found its worth
Simply clay, but it's from this clay that He makes a vessel
And He uses that vessel however He wants
Simply man, but it's in this man that He still resides
And this man is the son who will live with Him
A vessel that still matters
Clay that still remains
God will transform you into a vessel of worth
He wipes away your past
Eliminates your sins
And from the kneaded clay, He makes a vessel of worth
He wipes away your past
Eliminates your sins
And from the kneaded clay, He makes a vessel of worth
