Jesus Christ is missing you
On that empty bench in the church

You didn’t want to come back to church
You forgot the beautiful hymns you sang
The fervent prayers you used to pray
You said: Jesus pulled me from the world
And back to the world you went again
That bench is still waiting for you
Your brothers are praying for you
Repent, come back to church today
Christ in the clouds will soon appear
The day goes by and night comes fast
You’ll lie down in bed without a care
You might sleep and wake up at midnight
Jesus is coming and you can’t see
Then you’ll run in a panic
Looking for that house of prayer
You’ll find that little house is closed
Because the saved have already gone to Zion
