I walked towards the promised land
Pharaoh came to pursue me
God parted the sea and I went forward
Pharaoh died, I survived

I faced the danger of a vast desert
I won battles, God was always near
So many strong warriors have died there
God protected me, I survived

In front of me I see walls all around
From a city called Jericho
I will not back down, I have faith to continue
If I cry out, Jericho will fall

The city gates are already closed
They say amongst themselves that I'm here
My past instills fear in the enemy
Because I didn't die, I survived
