For the sisters who were going to pray, it was just another prayer
And for the young people who rehearsed to sing in the group
It was another praise song in which they would feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit

For the pastor, it was just another sermon
For the children, it was once again at school where they would learn their lesson
And for the preacher who was invited to preach
And for the singer who was invited to sing

It was just another time, it was just another praise, it was another day of worship
But up there something was happening, the sky was in motion
For in God's order, that worship service would not end

This could be your last service today, worship
Today could be the last time you sing in the choir
Today could be your last prayer, so pray
This could be your last sermon today, so preach with your heart and soul

It could be today, so cry, worship, shout, exult, jump and scream
It could be today: Sing, preach, pray, speak in tongues, and prophesy
It could be today, get up, run in search of lost souls
Today may be the last day that the church here on earth is gathered together

Today nobody can stop me, because I'm going to praise
Since I've never sung before, I want to sing every praise song
Get out of the way, obstacles and barriers, because I'm going to love it
And God will send even more anointing into my life
