In suffering he was born
And so he also grew
Until one day Jabez attracted
The heart of God

Four desires he had
Requests written in a few lines
Pour out your blessing more and more
Enlarge my tents, I want to go further
I am thirsty, give me more of you
Lord, do not let evil afflict me
