The believer's tear is a serious matter
It's a great mystery of emotion and pain
If the believer is falling
Losing faith
Their only hope is the Lord

And the believer cries and prays, and cries, and cries and prays
And the believer prays and cries, and prays, and prays and cries
And God soon answers, with His immense love
And the believer in battle is victorious

Sometimes already tired of so much fighting
The believer gets discouraged and thinks of stopping
But looks up and forgets the fear
Because their strength is the Lord
