Fã de São José

I am a fan of Saint Joseph, the adoptive father of Jesus,
Who raised the Savior, I am devoted to Joseph!

A strong, silent, and sensitive man,
A holy man, In a dream, one day, God
revealed to him, His plan of love and salvation,
from a God, Who became incarnate among us, my brother!

And from that day on, he received his Mary,
The Virgin Mother, of the beloved Son of God the Father,
And defended the salvation of the world,
In the silence, chastity, and firmness of his faith!

And in defense of the Family, his faith was tested,
In the struggle of spiritual combat!
He prayed to heaven for protection, and the angels answered,
His shield was the God of his faith!

Father of chastity, who lived in holiness,
He fought to defend the Savior,
Help me Saint Joseph, defend me up there in heaven,
As I strive to follow my Lord!
