A Direção

They got on the boat
Set the nets
And over the waters
They go sailing away
The sea is calm, the wind is still
And soon Peter cast the net into the sea
But there were no fish
And time after time
They tried, unsuccessfully, to catch anything
The night passed
As dawn broke
And here comes Peter
Sad, with empty nets

And as the fishermen returned to the shore
They started washing their nets
And soon Jesus arrived and commanded
That they go back to fishing
Casting the nets to the other side
Peter said: Master, we worked all night and caught nothing
But at Your word, I will cast the nets into the sea
And it happened that, on that day, they caught so many fish
So many fish, that they almost sank
You know why?

The problem isn't with the net
The problem isn't with the sea
The problem isn't with the fish
Nor with the day you chose to fish
The problem isn't with the time
Nor is it with the place
The problem was the direction
That you decided to cast

So go back there
And this time obey me
Prepare the boat again
Cast the net on the other side
And you will see the provision

But there are only fish in the net
