In the great struggle I went through in my life
I learned lessons to trust more in Jesus
Every winter I spent in His shelter
Today I invite my soul to sing

Awaken, my dear, and come
Sing with me as well
As the flowers begin to bloom
The winter has passed, the rain has gone too
It's time to sing praise, yes, to sing

The dark storms and clouds assaulted me
To take me away from the routine of the Lord
But His angel stood by my side
In this battle that lasted all night

The fight was great, but help came from heaven
When the tempter attacked me
But once again he lost the round
And I continue with my soul in praise
