Calvário

In Calvary my Lord
A sacrifice He made for me
He surrendered as a lamb out of love
All the pain He endured
His body bleeding
A high price He paid in my place

The crown piercing His head
The nails piercing His hands
The last breath there on the cross
Jesus died

Hope was lost
All turned into darkness
Sadness brings tears to the eyes
Another miracle happened
And joy was reborn
On the third day Christ rose
And hope sprouted in every gaze
The king of kings is alive
