O Dia de Cristo Bem Perto Está

The day of Christ is very near;
To the saints who sleep, He will resurrect;
The children of God will be comforted,
For eternity in the kingdom of heaven

Just as Christ ascended to heaven,
He will make the saints of God follow Him
He is the first of the resurrection;
The righteous will have the same victory

Eternal beings they will be, with Jesus,
Those who walked in the path of light;
In the sleep of the righteous they will rest;
They will inherit the immortality of God
