A Handful Of Pictures
Today I went up to the attic
This old box caught my eye
Over the years it has gathered dust, but I looked inside
There I found something I had long forgotten
It was my ancient camera
The film was still in there and it occurred to me
We and a carefree holiday
Our best moments together
And I fly back through time
Only a handful of pictures are left here
Never wanted to think about you again and yet I do
You've been here far too long
Nobody has a film like that anymore
A film with sixteen pictures but in me
Are there millions more of you
You were once my whole world
A few pictures won't tell the story anyway
You San Francisco the feeling of freedom
Every day, an exhilarating game
And Las Vegas, an endless sea of lights
We were young and we loved
Free path and life was great
On the highway chasing the dream
Only a handful of pictures are left here
Never wanted to think about you again and yet I do
You've been here far too long
Nobody has a film like that anymore
A film with sixteen pictures but in me
Are there millions more of you
You were once my whole world
A few pictures won't tell the story anyway
Only a handful of pictures are left here
Never wanted to think about you again and yet I do
You've been here far too long
Nobody has a film like that anymore
A film with sixteen pictures but in me
Are there millions more of you
You were once my whole world
A few pictures won't tell the story anyway
