O Julgamento

Jesus was taken to Pilate
Who presented him to the crowd
To be judged for a crime he didn't commit
It was an unjust trial
Then Pilate said to the people
I see no reason to kill him
Release Barabbas and kill the Nazarene
Pilate then washed his hands

I can see the people's excitement, hear the crowd's outcry
Crucify and kill the Nazarene, release Barabbas, this thief

And so they took our Master
To die on the cross in great pain
To redeem my soul
See how great His love is
See His hands shedding blood
See the spear that pierced Him
See the suffering, without any complaint
He faced the cross, didn't back down
