Estado de Poesia

To live in a state of poetry
I would immerse myself in these backlands of you
To leave the life I lived
Of gypsy before I met you
Of free deceptions I had because I wanted
Not knowing that sooner or later
I would be completely enchanted by all of your being

To mix midnight with midday
And finally know that I would sing the song
That I had longed for so long
The song of goodwill

It's beautiful to see love without anesthesia
It hurts in a good way, burns sweetly
It burns, soothes
Kills, creates
There are times when the person in love
Finds themselves crying over what they laughed at just yesterday
There are times when they laugh from within
They don't stay, nor do they leave
It's the state of poetry
