O Filii Et Filiae

O sons and daughters
Heavenly king, king of glory
Today he rose from the dead, hallelujah

To the entrance of the tomb

And James, and Salome
Came to anoint the body, hallelujah

Sitting in white, an angel
Predicted to the women

Ran faster than Peter

While the disciples stood by
In their midst stood Christ
Saying: Peace be with you all, hallelujah

When Thomas understood
That Jesus had risen
He remained almost doubtful, hallelujah

See, Thomas, see my side
See my feet, see my hands
Do not be unbelieving, hallelujah

When Thomas saw Christ's side
His feet and hands
He said: You are my God, hallelujah

Blessed are those who have not seen
Yet firmly believed
They will have eternal life, hallelujah

On this most holy feast
Let there be praise and rejoicing
Let us bless the Lord, hallelujah

For these most humble
Devout and due
