Dominus dixit ad me

The Lord said to me
You are my Son
This day I have begotten you

Why do the nations rage
And the peoples devise vain plots?

The kings of the earth rise up
And the rulers gather together as one
Against the Lord
And against His Anointed

The Lord said to me
You are my Son
Why do the nations rage

Ask of me
And I will give you the nations as your inheritance
And the ends of the earth As your possession

The Lord said to me

This day I have begotten you

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be
World without end
