No Jardim

In the garden. Jesus Christ was calling out
When the wicked came to arrest him
And speaking to the Father, he pleaded
For the cup he was about to drink.

With Jesus, my soul desires to be
In the garden, in constant prayer
When night falls, and evil surrounds me
I want to be in constant prayer

Like dew that gives life to flowers
So it is for the believer with prayer
My worries, sadness, and pains
Christ knows them through my prayer

Jesus had complete victory
Because he always lived in prayer
Many saints reached glory
Under the mantle of sweet prayer

Renewed in strength we will be
We will have a new anointing
And with God, in the garden we will speak
If we live always in prayer
