Quem Conhece Deus

The Bible speaks of a woman
Whose son, whom she loved, died
The prophet asked: How are you?
And she replied, saying: Very well!

But you say your life has perished
You even say that God has already forgotten you
You cry and complain
Because they forget that God loves
And it proves to those who are his children

Whoever knows God
The soul is satisfied
Even in pain, the heart has peace
He spreads his wings
Nothing can touch you
Whether in blessing or in trial, there is peace

The Bible tells the story of a boy
Forced to deny his Lord
He was thrown to the lions but he didn't refuse
And God delivered him from the fury of the lions
Don't expect a sad victory like that
Ask God to increase your faith
The wind may blow and the palm tree may sway
But those who hope in God stand firm
