God's Promises
When I read the Scriptures, I begin to meditate
In the story of a man who was betrayed
And persecuted by his brothers
He was sold and humiliated
Even so, he didn't complain
And Joseph was taken to Egypt
It was the Lord's plan!
God gave you big dreams
That would exalt him
Those who have a promise do not die
This is the word of the Lord Jehovah!
Come, Spirit of God, and act in this place
I want to see Your promises fulfilled in me
I implore you, oh my God: Come and pour out
Your anointing is here today!
And with authority, I will prophesy
In the name of Jesus, I know there is power
And what He promised will come to pass!
Even if hell tries to steal
Everything the Lord planned
Among God's chosen ones
He can't touch it!
The sky moves and victory
It comes from Jehovah!
Come, Spirit of God!
Spirit of God!
Come, Spirit of God, and act in this place
I want to see Your promises fulfilled in me
