A boat sinking, who will help it?
Sinking into the abyss, who will save it?

The shipwrecked one listens to your good Savior:
Here I am ready to save you, just trust in my love;

The sailor is already fainting, seeing himself perish,
And pleads very anxiously; come help me.

The sea of life is turbulent for the traveler,
But when he cries out, Christ, the Savior, helps him.

Facing the dark death, full of dread,
