Frustrated plans, cloudy days
I wonder: Why did I dream?
Rough sea, overcast weather
The routes I planned no longer make sense

But the owner of this sea
Is also my owner
He didn't abandon me
I know, He's teaching me

Teaching me to depend
Teaching me to trust
And even to realize
When it's time to stop
Not to stop moving forward
But to stop and listen to Him
And understand that from above
He sees my path

And changes the course
And guides the little boat
And thus will lead me to the safe place
To calmness

I have the promise of the One who doesn't err
That on the other side, yes
I will arrive
I'm not alone
I have with me
The One to whom nothing resists, for He is King
