She walks alone at night Maria,
Sorrow for the city,
Walking the streets that one day
Denied kisses in the darkness.

And Maria's sight clouds,
Because it hurts to remember
That the denied kissed Maria,
Will never return.

In the nights on that path,
Something strange can happen,
Feeling on the lips the cold,
Of other lips you won't see.

It's Maria who sorrows in the streets
