From my beloved Nuevo León

Such a horrifying crime,
I wouldn't even want to sing about it,
How is it possible that a son,
Went to kill his father

All the people in Linares,
Were left frightened,
Upon hearing the words,
That a mother uttered

A crime like the one you committed,
Has no forgiveness from God,
Said a mother crying,
In the midst of her pain

May they punish you in heaven,
When you face judgment,
The laws of the land,
Will never collect your debt

As the years went by,
Their family was formed,
And a son from the marriage,
Avenged his grandfather

This was an evil son,
Who killed his own father,
And with a son he paid,
For this cowardly crime
