Carta de Luto

Here I send you this letter of mourning
To tell you how much I think
The love I have for you is so great
That I already feel my heart dead.

This letter is written with a pencil
And don't think it's for lack of ink
I just want you to understand when you see it
That my life is withered.

I write you this letter of mourning
Because sad and black is my destiny
But in the end I will console myself
Because God marked this path for me.

When this letter reaches your hands
I just want to ask you a favor
Remember very well what you say
For the relief of my heart.

When you hear the bells ring
From the clock in front of the cemetery
I just want you to bow your head
And pray for me.
