There were several horses
That Pancho Villa rode
It was called Seven Leagues
The mare he preferred.

It was a roan horse
Of good height and very good rein
Pancho Villa rode it
When he was wounded in the leg.

There was much talk of a horse
With four golden hooves
They say it was as famous
As the grain and the ace of gold.

Pancho Villa's horses
That were always famous
More famous the general
In his glorious years.

He was always a wise man
Brave and very determined
Many times they planned to kill him
They never found him asleep.

Finally, his time came
And that destiny without fail
