They're slowly taking away what I earned
It was just a loan for being a good worker
Now I'm part of oblivion and television
Is in charge of filming the sorrows
Increasing its audience with my pain

Seems like I lost my mind again
It happens often, at my age there's no solution
And the truth was stolen from me with my retirement
They made up stories imagining that no one ever read them

Even if they take away my food, my meds, and my cane

My grandchildren and domino keep me entertained
Or I sew my shirts
I just want to maintain my sick health and my skin
That surrender day by day

My glasses turned to ashes
