O Caminho de Maria

In Nazareth’s humble home
An angel came to make her understand
Rejoice, Mary, you are chosen to be
The Mother of the Word, within whose womb He grows

At once she answers
Here is the servant of the Lord
Let it be to me according to Your Love
She sought no questions, nor did she hesitate
In trust her great yes resounded

Throughout her life she taught us
Do whatever He tells you
For in Obedience there is power

Father, Your will is my light
Mary always leads us to Jesus
Do whatever He commands
In Obedience lies great power
Remaining faithful at the foot of the Cross
Awaiting the promise to be fulfilled

And on the third day the stone rolled away
The tomb lay empty, He had risen
Mary beholds the endless victory
For her Son lives in you and in me

Again she taught us
Do whatever He commands
For in Obedience there is power

Along the way of the Cross she stayed
In the silence of suffering, she never lost her way
Today she cries to every generation
Follow My Son, He is salvation!
