El Silencio de Un Joven
Bryan Laboy
The Silence of a Young Man
Sometimes I start to think
Why do I lock myself up so much?
I can't find anyone to confide in
All my sorrows
My soul cries alone
Out of fear of speaking
At some point I wanted to
And no one knew how to listen
Now it's my turn
To accept that
Only you can hear me
And I'm not asking for anything
Just come back to restore me
And now the silence
Takes hold of me inside
I don't know if it was a mistake
How to explain to the heart?
That there is a God who is ready
To hear my prayer
That man is not necessary
Only causing disappointment
That there is a God who is ready
To take away all the pain
And despite my youth
It encourages me to continue
And it was in the silence
There where I learned
To depend completely on you
I'm young
I'm young
I'm young
I'm young
Sometimes I start to think
Why do I lock myself up so much?
I can't find anyone to confide in
All my sorrows
My soul cries alone
Out of fear of speaking
At some point I wanted to
And no one knew how to listen
Now it's my turn
To accept that
Only you can hear me
And I'm not asking for anything
Just come back to restore me
Now the silence
Takes hold of me inside
I don't know if it was a mistake
How to explain to the heart?
That there is a God who is ready
To hear my prayer
That man is not necessary
Only causing disappointment
That there is a God who is ready
To take away all the pain
And despite my youth
It encourages me to continue
And it was in the silence
There where I learned
To depend completely on you
Although I'm young, I want to follow you
Deny myself to serve you
Pleasing you is my desire
To see you face to face, Jesus
I'm young
I'm young
I'm young
I'm young (uh)
