Life is full of questions I can't answer
So many things happen
Which I don't always understand why
Feelings of fear about myself
Afflictions that seem endless
Surprises on a path I haven't yet traveled
In the midst of that storm, I could then hear your voice
That came like a breeze whispering in my heart
Calming my pains and emotions
Dissipating storms and hurricanes
I chose to rest in You
