I need to find my God
In this prayer of mine
And talk about the sadness I carry
Deep inside my heart
There are times I feel lost
Not knowing what to do
Like now I'm feeling anxious
I even think about dying

And I won't just repeat a prayer
A ritual simply doesn't express
This pain, my loneliness
I know there's only one solution

I lift my eyes to the skies
I need You so much, Lord

I want to forget what’s past
And be reborn in Your Love

I need to change my life
Resolve this issue
Start over again
Take a different direction
Only those who end the cold night
With the warmth of the day
Can bring joy
To a poor sufferer

And I won't just repeat a prayer
A ritual simply doesn't express
This pain, my loneliness

I've only had disillusion
So much pain, so many wounds
So many dead ends
I'm tired of searching
