Lejos Del Ayer

Far From Yesterday
Far from yesterday and in the distance
I found you, in the memory
Your mouth named me, like that day
When you said my name in an I love you
I couldn't have your perfume
Nor the chestnut waves of your hair
Nor could I keep inside you
All the seagulls of my body
A wind between us
Brought silence
I let myself be carried away by that gale
Towards another sky
I thought I wouldn't see you again
And today I find you again
In the memory
Warm was the Moon a witness
Of the blue crime of loving each other
It was like a red brushstroke
On the white canvas of silence
I invented a forgetfulness to memory
I swore to God I would do it
I cursed your name as forbidden
I forbade myself from naming you even in my dreams
A wind between us
Brought silence
I let myself be carried away
By that gale
Towards another sky
I thought I wouldn't see you again
And today I find you again
In the memory
