I can feel her kisses from here
I know she’s thinking of me
Because she misses me just like I do
And she peeks out the window
Hoping to see me come back
Even though she knows I won’t
And she spends her days waiting for a call
Just to know that the kid
Is doing alright
That’s enough for her
To put a smile on her face
That’s enough for her to finally rest
She dreams
Of the days when we were happy
She spends her time looking at photos and smiling
Even though she’s scared of never seeing me again

She feels proud because I’m what they raised
According to this, her purpose is done
And she tells God that any day she could go
