It Was Worth Being Faithful

God, if I had given up
When someone spoke to me
That my time had passed
Just look if I had listened
To the enemy's whisper I wouldn't be blessed
I confess the desert was so fierce
But I kept my eyes on the target
Firm with my cross
Someone told me I wouldn't make it
It was better to give up
But I only looked at Jesus
The envious one ignores our test
But whoever wants to achieve victory
At the end of the tunnel sees a light

If I had given up
Look what I would have lost
It was worth being faithful
Today I am blessed
The desert so bitter
Today tastes like honey
They set up grandstands
So many people seated
Many people surrounding me
Today they are in the same place
Seeking dreams to kill
And God just blessing me
