Vuelo Supremo

I want to live the adventurous life
of wandering seabirds;
not to have, to go to another shore,
the prosaic vision of the roads.

To be able to fly when the evening dies
among fleeting amber flashes
and to oppose the swift whirlwinds
with strong wings and a fierce gaze.

To flee from everything that is human;
to intoxicate myself with blue...To be sovereign
of two immensities: sea and sky,

and when I feel my heart tired
to die on an abandoned cliff
with wings open for flight.
