You will see the devil flee
And the infernal temptations

The lost is recovered
The harsh prison is broken

The raging sea calms

All human evils
Are moderated, withdrawn
Let those who have seen it say
And let the people of Padua say

Through his intercession
The plague, error, and death flee
The weak become strong
And the sick become healthy
