I found a cat lying on the street
Shivering from the cold and soaked in the rain
I picked her up in my arms, warmed her against my body
I gave her affection and carried her running to my house

That beautiful cat to me has turned out ungrateful
Two-faced, bold, unthankful, and flirty
She doesn't drink her milk, cries all day
She found another cat and now scratches me all night

Where I used to sleep I found you, that ungrateful one
I don't want a scratch like a cat's scratch
Why continue with a bad cat?
