The cross, the nails, and the thorns
Instruments of the greatest proof of love

It was a wonderful distance He traveled
To reach me and forgive my sins

The greatest love is Jesus, the ineffable love, He loved me
He reached out to me, Jesus loved me
He chose to die rather than live away from me
Paid the price with His own life
And now He sits at the right hand of the Father
