Today the day began
And even though the Sun didn't show up
I will keep loving you
And if today I forgot about the flowers, the color
The perfume, its scent
Take a colored pencil
Paint over that blotch
Hope and forgiveness
Paint the cold in brown
Put red on the heart
Put white on resentment
When the sky is cloudy
Take out that eraser
Erase all bitterness
Paint the world in color
From life we learn
From drawing, the erasure
From flowers, their scent
From perfume, its smell
From children, their innocence
From the elderly, their value
Give wings to life
Put water in that vase
You are that flower
You are water that stirs, you are a letter in poetry
You are God's verb
Look closely in the mirror
His love, that reflection
Don't think it was a mistake
When the day ends and the curtain falls
The show is over
The night becomes cold
The strength in you agonizes
The Moon has already hidden
Paint that poetry
Give the sky a smile
Put wings on the mattress
