Se Le Apagó La Luz
Alejandro Sanz
The Light Went Out
I don't feel anything anymore
But I sense that it's pouring out
The magic of my worn-out soul
She’s lying in the street
Some distant sirens
Echo in the forgotten night
Fast steel horse
Your gas, my blood, and her body
Mixed on the ground
The gray of the road tracing her hair
And the light went out for her, and her voice went out
The light went out, she trembled
And the stretcher hasn’t arrived, I fought to find a way out
To go listen to her heart
With my hands all confused, I can’t stand
I can’t reach the girl of my life
Because she doesn’t speak, I don’t understand
Just a moment ago she was telling me
Don’t run so fast, I’m scared
The ambulance was flying
Between life and death, I thought
That she missed her home so much
Bitter laughter in bed
Imagine it’s a target
With all those needles stuck in
She jokes about her luck, makes her feel stronger
Between life and death, she thinks so differently
And the light went out for her, and her voice went out
The light went out, she trembled
They closed the curtains
And I heard life passing by and the
Soft beating of a heart
The unspoken understood
An awkward goodbye from
The girl of my life
The light went out, she trembled
They closed the curtains
And I heard life passing by and the
Soft beating of a heart
The unspoken understood
An awkward goodbye from
The girl of my life
