Quando Encontrei Jesus

Without Jesus I walked aimlessly and homeless
I went through dangers like a lost wanderer
But one day I stopped right in front of the cross
I left all burdens when I found Jesus
I came out of the abyss when I could see the light
And I escaped death by His great power
He transformed everything in me, I am no longer who I was
I left sin behind when I found Jesus

When I found Jesus
My whole life then changed
When I found Jesus
He healed my wounds
The past is gone
From the darkness of the abyss I came to the light
Today I sing, I am happy, I found Jesus!

How much anguish I felt walking so alone
Until one day I stopped and asked the Lord
To change all my ways
I cried so much, so far from God
Only now I know how unhappy I was
Even so, God loved me, even so, God wanted me
He guides my being and leads me to heaven
Through the eyes of Faith, I already contemplate Jesus
