God of creation, I want to see you
To know you more each day
Rest on your wings
In the midst of the storm, worship you

Even being the creator, you heard my cry

God is collective but of each individual
Taking care of the nation yet listening to the lost

Of a people who turned their backs on their God

And who am I? To be called your friend
And who am I? For the Lord to care about me
Giving your own son to save the lost
Those whom the world abandoned, received your kingdom
The poor, the lonely, the afflicted, the discredited crazy, and the oppressed
The Lord is here and here is my place
