El Desayuno

It's early and you already want to leave
And I tell you not to go without having breakfast,
You're standing by the door
And I see you getting mad that you can't stay.

You sit next to me while
The cat begs for more tea, you see it with your smile,
I get up and set the table with a pretty tablecloth,
With a red checkered pattern and honey.

You offer me to stay and make me a pancake
With some delicious coffee,
